About Biaka Works

I design brands, websites, and products for small businesses, nonprofits, and growing teams. You work with me directly, from the first call to launch and after.

I’m Biaka. I started Biaka Works in Kansas City in 2010, and I’ve designed brands, websites, and marketing for small businesses, nonprofits, and growing teams ever since.

I’m also a product designer. I design apps, client portals, and internal tools, and I was the lead UX designer on a healthcare staffing platform for three and a half years. Every brand starts with a discovery questionnaire about your business, and every website starts with what your customers need to do.

Product design

Apps, client portals, and internal tools, designed around the people who use them every day.

I was the lead UX designer on Cascade Health Services’ staffing platform: a mobile app for nurses, a client portal for facilities, and internal tools.

“He helped bring critical services to life. Biaka is a team player collaborating across teams to better understand the business, users and industry needs.”

Jim GalindoDirector of Software Development, Cascade Health Services

How it works

Clear steps, one point of contact, and a price you know before work starts.

  1. Discovery

We talk about where your business is now and where you want it to go. You get a written plan and a price.

  2. Design

You see real designs early and give feedback in one place. Nothing goes out until you approve it.

  3. Build and launch

I build the site or prepare the final files, test everything, and launch it with you.

  4. Ongoing support

Monthly updates, new content, and help when you need it. Many of my clients have stayed for years.

What clients say

“The quality of his well thought out work has exceeded every expectation. He is also timely and very considerate of our project budgets.”

Bart PadenCo-founder, Midwestern Interactive

“Biaka Works took the time to dive into the weeds with our leadership team and understand our goals and turn our vision into a communication strategy that was bottom shelf and easy for our audience to consume.”

Justin CarneyExecutive Director, AgGrandize Global

“He went above and beyond in creating exactly what I wanted. … He did such a great job on the logos and branding that I hired Biaka’s team to upgrade my website.”
